Workshop: Log Mosaic
03 March 2018, 10:00 - 15:00 ( Add to calendar )
Create a beautiful mosaic that will add colour and texture to any garden or outside space. The base of this project will be formed from a slice of willow tree felled in the ancient woodland of the Surrey Wildlife Trust’s Nower Wood Educational Nature Reserve.
On this wood you will create a unique piece of art using tiles and glass provided by your tutor Tiffany Gregory. She will provide her expert guidance and advice along with all of the necessary tools and supplies needed to develop an impressive outdoor structure.
This full day course is suitable for both beginners and improvers.
Tutor Profile - Tiffany Gregory
Tiffany can’t remember a time when she wasn’t making ‘stuff’. From an early age she could be found sewing away on her black and gold antique singer. This need to create has continued throughout her life from mosaic to printing, sewing to photography and everything in-between. She did a Foundation in Art and Design as a mature student and then completed a degree in Fine Art. Her love of colour can be seen in everything she does and her aim in life is to be creative each day, even if it’s only for 5 minutes
