If you are a teacher, parent, carer or leader involved with teenagers you will know that it is vital to help them to manage stressful situations. Whether it is exams, social media, friendship groups or hormones causing this pressure, getting them to engage with nature can drastically reduce their anxiety levels. Through a mixture of classroom discussions and outdoor practical tasks, this afternoon session will teach you how to use the tools nature has given us to help improve a young person’s mental health and wellbeing.
