Learn how to identify the native plants and animals that live in our woods. Discover what lives in leaf litter. Collect samples on a scavenger hunt. Evaluate the use of different keys and guides. Consider the role of ancient woodland indicator species and finally create a tree species list for mixed deciduous woodland in Surrey.
This is a level 2 (GCSE level) course and is aimed at beginners who wish to start learning about nature conservation in British woodland.
